We apply the techniques for usability and user experience analysis in:

Usability is understood as the 'ability to use something'.

  • " The aim of a 'usable' product or service is to make it easy to use.
  • " A service or product is highly usable when:

    • Its use hardly needs mental effort.
    • It has a low error rate when being used
    • The errors, if there are any, do not have serious consequences
    • It enables to do more things or in less time
    • It can be used intuitively. Users are able to learn how to use it quickly

User experience is understood as 'the enjoyment of using something'.

  • A product/service offers good user experience when the user is happy before, during and after its use, which means the following features have to be taken into account:

    • How it looks (colour, shape, feel…)
    • Audio feedback/ Video feedback
    • Trust/branding
    • Emotional impact (connotations/identification…)
    • Effects and surprises
    • Practical/Usable
    • Innovation/original
